On the Eternal Road !
The route 66 is the most famous and mysthic road, so we go on this "Eternal Road".
We decided set off to Los Angeles. During our trip, we could see a lot of legendary monuments.
We will describe our way on this amazing road.
First Day :
First step, first city : Chicago !

In fact, our adventure begin in this place. We could see fantastic
monuments like The Bean, the Chicago Water Tower, Tribune Tower or again The Lake Michigan.

In Illinois there is a road's segment who kept her original surface in red bricks.

Second day :
We stopped in Galena, who is the oldest minning city in Kansas.The March Arch Bridge whose the nickname is : "The Rainbow Bridge", is an elegant bridge who connect Galena and Baxter Springs. In the last town, we visited The Baxter Springs Independent Oil and Gas station. She creates an special atmosphere.

The "Rainbow Bridge presents a unique architecture.
Third Day :
We maked a coffee break at the Richardson Store in Montoya, in Texas.
Then we did a ride in the fabulous infertile landscape and incredible western's setting who was very realist.

To play the game, we wore a cow-boy costume like people who are in the picture.

Then, we can't believe our eyes when we saw a gas station straight from the cartoon "Cars".
Her name is : Tower Sation-U-Drop Inn Café in Shamrock. This gas station is a little jewel of Texas.

Fourth day :
We traveled to Arizona.This state have the longest part of the Route 66.

The most famous natural site of Arizona is The Grand Canyon. It's a the most wonderful view of the world !!! The Grand Canyon is so popular . Indeed, if you wish to visit it, you should reserve your hotel room ! Many people go to see this nature's miracle ! In our eyes, we could count this site among the wonders of the world !

During our break at the Grand Canyon, we did climbing on walls.
Also, we hiked around this natural park. The landscape was so beautiful !

Subsequently, we strolled on the river of the Grand Canyon. The view was
breathtaking ! At the evenning, we could admire the sunset from our Wigwam room.

We slept in a "Wigwam Motel" who are in Holbrook.
The Wigwam Motels, also know as the "Wigwam Villages", is a motel chain. Rooms are builtin the form of tipis.
We did a celebration with people who were in the motel.
The atmosphere of this wigwam hotel was really catchy and funny . You will not find anywhere else this same atmosphere ! we kept many memories of this fabulous experience !
Last day :
Last step, Last city : Los Angeles !
Thus, we arrived finally in Los Angeles (LA), the end of the Route 66. Los Angeles is a destination verry esteemed by people because it's the star's city. In fact, a lot of stars come to shoot movies. LA is famous for her Venice Beach and his legendary Sunset Boulevard. However, the letters "HOLLYWOOD" stay the most importantly monument of Los Angeles.

Moreover, the Hollywood Boulevard is very impressive. Stars are very beautiful, and you can find your idol's name on the floor !!!
Before, arriving in LA we stopped in a mysthic café : Bagdad café.this café represents perfectly the route 66's atmosphere

So,this adventure was really extraordinary ! It was our mozst beautiful experience ! Our memories stay anchored forever in our memory ! The Route 66 made us discover many things ! Ride all days in the sun and then stop a moment to meet fantastic places became our routine during five days !

To end the day you attend a NBA game in Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Your next stop will be in Santa Fe in new mexico, you will discover a city with lots of charm. You go to San Miguel Chapel, as you will probably tired it will be the only visit. You sleep in Inn and Spa at Loretto
