Arizona's tour by paul p

MY AMERICAN TOUR ON ROAD 66

Welcome everybody who reads these words... Welcome to where?

Welcome to USA! And today I studied the road 66! ... yes! I'm not joking! The real "mother road"!

Okay! You think that road 66 isn't really original because everybody say: "It's just a big long boring road!"

... And it's true!

After my America's tour, I understood something: If you want to add sensations to your own tour around America, just give you one day in Arizona to see the...

Image illustrative de l'article Parc national du Grand Canyon... Great Canyon!!!

It's really a big canyon as large as 4 927 km2  and 4 298 178 people visit it each year.It just was created by the erosion of wind and water which spilled onto the fragile stone during billions years! Today it is one of the most famous monuments on the world. Each american guy sees this fairy site once in his life. If you want to see this marvel you just have to take this way (sorry it is not really clear but the Great Canyon is at the green note just at the bottom):

It is three hours drive along the blue road on the picture. So I think it is not difficult and essential to see the Great Canyon if you make your own tour around America. Isn't it?
