A Road 66 tour of California

The first day, you're going to land in Needles, where you're going to sleep in an hotel which name is « Rio Del Sol » in Needles.

This hotel has got a swimming pool, a Wi-Fi access a cable television and others advantages.

The second day, we'll go to the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural association, in Goffs, which is thirty five minutes away from the hotel. We are going to see the “Desert Waysides” exhibition; it has plenty of photographs and objects of the desert and especially of the Mojave Tribe. Right after the lunch, we jump into a place called “Eagle Riders” which owns lots of Harley Davidson. We are going to take a quick lesson so that we can hit the road on Harleys to do a tour of the area and then go to Amboy and sleep at the Good Nite Inn hotel.

On the third day, you won't do too much, in the morning, you'll have some free time to go to the spa or enjoy the swimming pool. For the lunch, we'll eat in a very known place : Roy's Cafe. Then, you'll visit the Amboy Crater, an incredible place, and finally go back to the hotel.


The morning of the fourth day, after less than two hours of travel we are going to stop in Victorville to visit the Road 66 Museum of California which is full of history. For lunch, we'll eat at Juan Pollo, a chicken restaurant. Its owners also owns the first McDonald ever which was turned into a museum and which we're going to visit ! After this epic day, we'll sleep in an hotel which is called All Star Lodge. It has all the things you need such as Wi-Fi, swimming pool, etc.

On the fifth day, we are going to take a walk in Eaton Canyon, Pasadena, where you can find waterfalls and wonderful landscapes. After a picnic right in front of waterfalls, we will go shopping downtown in a street called Colorado Boulevard. Here, you're going to have some free time to spend all your money or just walk around in the quarter and go see the Colorado Street Bridge. In the evening, time to register at the Aztec Hotel, Monrovia which has nothing to envy to the architecture of an Aztec monument.

Dodger stadium

Next morning, we are going to wake up early to see the sun rise over Santa Monica Pier. Then we are going to head into downtown Los Angeles to eat in a typical american restaurant called Engine CO N°28. They have wonderful burgers in there ! The afternoon, we're going to see a behind the scene at Dodger Stadium, the local team's stadium. Right after this, at about 5pm, we'll see a baseball match.




The seventh day, it's Cinema Day ! We will head to Runyon Canyon to catch sight of the Hollywood sign and see the city from the hills. The afternoon, we will visit the Universals Studios.

The eighth day is the last. The morning, you will be able to hang out in the pool, take a walk on the walk of fame or simply sip a cocktail in your deck chair next to the swimming pool. The afternoon, it's time to pack, so that we can head to the Los Angeles airport and go home.
