The Perfect Road Trip !
Our trip to started with one of the most beautiful beaches of California: Santa Monica ! Is located on the Pacific coast to the West of Los Angeles.This magnificent Beach and this legendary pontoon !
It was fabulous to see one of the most famous beaches in the world, ahead of us.
The Santa Monica Beach is very busy and especially on weekends.
The pontoon that everyone knows, that served as natural scenery for films, TV series and pubs, groups of gift shops, fish restaurants and various attractions, including a carousel dating back to 1920. But there is especially a Ferris wheel and a roller coaster ! The pontoon was renamed "Pacific Park".
We continue our adventure on Route 66. We meet on our way to billboards, motels, old cars... We're off to Las Vegas !
Las Vegas is the city of excess ! You can find a casino every two hundred meters. Do you want to play ? Do you want to have fun ? Do you want to spend an amazing time ? Las vegas is made for you ! Situated in a awesome desert, Las Vegas never sleeps ! Lights, streets, districts, all is sensational ! Amusement parks and hotels offer an exceptionnal show ! How visited a city is ! You might meet a star ! You can play all the nights in the numerous casinos. Fountains, lights, the small Eiffel Tower... This is just AMAZING ! Everybody dream to get married in Las Vegas like in the movies !
When we are on route 66, we are obliged to visit the mythical places !
The ghost towns are essential !
Such as Calico who is a village founded in 1881 and became a ghost town in 1904.
It's amazing, we have the impression of being in a filming studio ! Some buildings and shops are of the time ! When we walk in this village, we have goosebumps! But people love to be scared, that is why the ghost towns are popular tourist !
The Road 66 it's the road of dream and freedom !
